Things look a little more interesting in the halls of Nazareth Academy this spring. If you have been in Donor Hall, on K2 or in the Media Center recently, you might have noticed that there is a whole bunch of art on display.

It is the work of the students in Photography, Intro to Art, Digital Media Art, and 2D-3D Design classes. This showcase, curated by Art teachers Nan Garside and Kelly Pack, is called Scenes & Sounds. A prominent feature of the exhibit are the self portraits, but it consists of a wide variety of types of artwork and materials including photography, painting, graphic design and sculpture.

Pack thinks the variety is the best part about the show. She said, “There is such a range that it makes the work more interesting. I am really proud of it and proud of the kids, I am really happy.”

The display is very interesting and really shows the creativity of the art students here at Naz. If you haven’t seen it yet, definitely check out the Scenes & Sounds showcase to enjoy some great art and creativity.
