The annual spring fashion show, sponsored by the Parents Club, was held on April 29th at the Marriott in Oak Brook. The event was a great success. Parents and fellow students of the senior class watched the seniors work the runway, wearing the latest prom attire in the hottest styles and colors.
“It was really fun being able to strut our stuff on the runway and I think our class nailed it! It really was a once in a lifetime experience.” said senior Amy Zasadzinski
The show was a great precursor to prom, since the senior girls were dressed in beautiful prom dresses, while the boys were dressed in handsome suits, modeling for stores such as David’s Bridal and Peaches. This event gave the senior class a chance to spend time together before their graduation in the end of May. They bonded together in the dressing room beforehand, and had a fabulous time showing off during the show.
“It’s a great senior tradition and I am so glad I got to be a part of it! I love my class and this was just another great way to spend time with everyone!” explained senior Clare Bohne. Proud parents of these wonderful seniors came to watch, laugh, and take pictures of their children. Even freshmen, sophomore, and junior students accompanied their parents in the fashion show festivities to watch their siblings pose and waltz down the runway.
“The fashion show was so much fun! The seniors really did a great job!” said junior Brittany Zeeb, who went with a group of her friends and their mothers. Every guest was assigned to a table, food was served, jewelry was for sale, and there were many raffles and items up for bid. The 2012 fashion show was a huge success. Great job seniors!
