Katie Bialas, a senior, who is in charge of the Naz Factor, shared her feelings about this year’s show stating, “I’m looking forward to another year emceeing with Drew Minik and I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to really showcase the amount of talent we have at this school.”
“The show is run by Student Council and I am in charge of the event with the assistance of Ethan Flanagan and Elena Sofia, who are preparing to take over for me after I graduate and Student Council moderator, Mrs. Gurney, has been a huge part of making this show happen. Her husband, Mr Gurney, will be in the booth with Anthony Bartucci on the night of the show making sure our tech needs are met.”
The Naz Factor Judging Panel is as follows: Mr. Gonzalez, Mrs. Rausch, and Mrs. White. Katie predicts, “Mr. Gonzalez will have fun pretending to be mean and take on the Simon Cowel role, Mrs. Rausch will be the voice of reason, and Mrs. White will have fun interacting with her fellow judges as the only returning judge on my panel.”
The Naz Factor is a chance for many talented students, many of whom are not as well known to others, to showcase their talent. A few of the acts are veterans while many are new to this process.
“This year’s strong show is rumored to have some surprises, but the only way to find out is to show up to satisfy your curiosity…”
