Nazareth Academy’s social justice club, Just Us, has returned this year. After being active for years, it lost popularity last year, but renewed interest has led to the reactivation of the club this year.

The club focuses on raising school-wide awareness of various social issues students want to talk about and work on. This year, students were interested in starting the club again, so Religion Teacher, Mr. Szczepkowski, decided to help them get started again.  

The main goal of the club is to “Give students a chance to learn more about social injustice and get the chance to be active in combating it,” said Mr. Szczepkowski.  
Their first meeting took place on Friday, September 30. The club meets regularly in room M301. Students should see Mr. Szczepkowski with any questions and listen to the announcements for additional meeting information.
